As you may already know....

Hi,
as you may know already, the movement is an Excelsior Park caliber.
In fact, I believe, Zenith "bought in" this watches complete with case and dial from Excelsior Park company
and just signed it Zenith (like many others - for US market for Example "Gallet" comes to mind).
Zenith also had a different line chronographs with Martel movements.
Re. your watch - I believe the dial isn't original to this particular watch - it looks very much like an NOS dial
with later added Zenith signatuure - signature style obviously is a bit "off" ....
Also condition of the dial is a bit too good for the rest of the watch and case (cases like this are far from dust and humidity proof,
what you can easily spot looking at movement condition/tarnishing).
Is the case signed "Zenith"?
BTW, never saw one of those originally signed Zenith, but saw quite a lot unsigned or with diffferent Signatures (EP, for example).
One of the better known Zenith with EP movement would be the so called "jugoslavian/serbian air force" chrono - screw back steel case, black dial and EP movement.
Best regards
Suitbert
