Zenith grey.....

Dave G,

I can see from your photo why you have a thing for the grey Zenith dial.

Many years ago, when I started this hobby, I would not consider a grey dial. I thought it was 'neither fish nor fowl' and an indecisive compromise between black or white.

Nowadays, the grey thing seems to have taken hold of my heart and I am a partial convert.....

I picked up this lovely piece here in the UK yesterday with the sleek looking grey dial.... Matches the sky this morning although it looks like the sun may chase away the clouds. Dave...

Perhaps it is a current fad, but there is something quite cool about the look. My first was a UN simple piece in platinum about 8 years ago, then a big step up to a Patek 5960P which cemented my attraction and is still a favourite piece.

Lovely, indeed.

Love the 410LE and the 410, just wish it was 39-40mm instead of 42. I have the Striking 10ths LE, and find it a bit too big.
