It was just about two weeks ago that I ran into a Rolex 116610LV, which I presented in the thread "The Hulk has found me". Fellow purists might still remember my conclusion:"There is no need to go after a watch, if it is meant to be yours, it will come to...

Woohoo! Another one! Congrats Luis!

This Zenith looks great indeed! Both the dial and the iconic chronograph movement (it looks great on your photos). Congrats and you are really a lucky man to have your wife supporting your purchase of the Zenith! No more watches? Hmmmm... I believe you br...

I think I have to respect (or obey?) my wife's warning.

This watch is kind of special.

For my previous watches, I always had all the plastics and wrapping cleanly taken off at the shop, and left happily with the watch on my wrist. For this Zenith, however, I did not dare to remove anything until I got home, sat down, stared at it for some t...

I am afraid that it's not my wife's definition...

"no more watches" warning for me only, which means future watch purchases will only be hers... Fortunately she is not interested in any watches currently available on the market. ^_^

This is my absolute (then unattainable) dream watch when I was a PhD student...

I could not take my exyes of the marvellously detailed dial which is yet so restrained. This alone is a masterpiece, not to speak about the historically important movement. Its so great that such a piece surfaced here and brought back these lovely memorie...

Very grateful for your appreciation.

I am glad that we share the same passion and fond memories through this beautiful watch. And yes, my wife is very clever. She normally respects my autonomy and freedom, but does give me advice and "warning" when she feels necessary. I am like the throttle...

This Chronomaster might be the definitive one! It is one of my favourite Zenith watches and you managed to find the most up-to-date version! Dare I say, this is almost a wise purchase.

Thank you for bringing up this very good point!

I can definitely use it to further justify my purchase of this watch, which my wife know very little about it. I will bring your opinion to her to make her realize that how "important", "wonderful" and "wise" this purchase is. Hurray!
