 By: JPSF : November 21st, 2009-00:51
Duomètre à Chronographe - Ever since I first saw the Duometre pix, I fell in love with this JLC. When I first touch the watch in the flesh, I decided to get one for myself. After so many sleepless nights between PG or YG agony, I was finally able to decid...

Huge congratulations!

...a very beautiful watch and your choice of RG makes it even better IMO. Wear it in the best of health. N

Just superb!

I would gladly take the Duometre in any color, one o the few watches about which I can honestly say that. But I mut say your photos really show off the PG. Beautiful shots of your new masterpiece. Enjoy! respo

YG, RG, or Platinum, it is not important, JPSF.

 By: amanico : November 21st, 2009-21:45
What is important is to have one on the wrist, in the hands, and to be able to play with it, to see the ballet of the seconds hands, the Foudroyante, and to be captivated by this somptuous " grainé " dial. The more I wear it, the more I love it. You just ...

You are right Nicolas

 By: SJX : November 21st, 2009-23:28
the only chronograph where metal matters is Datograph, which should be in platinum. ;-) - SJX

Tend to agree, SJX... :)

 By: amanico : November 21st, 2009-23:44

And I disagree !

The PG version with the silver dial is gorgeous ! Fr.Xavier

This time, i disagree with u Nicolas...

About the JLC dna, i try to find it, but i couldn't... no where, even in the back The shape of the case, the hands, the dial, basically everything... I couldn't connect it to the JLC dna. I personally felt that this model opens a new page in the JLC book....

There is something from the Past with the Duomètre, Karim

 By: amanico : November 23rd, 2009-08:19
Which makes me say that the Duomètre belongs to the JLC Tradition. The shape of the case, the the hands, the dial, too, belong to the Tradition of Elegant, watches, and even better, this Dumoètre looks a bit like a pocket watch . It is a new line of watch...

The feeling of...

 By: kkhazen : November 23rd, 2009-08:34
... a watch from the past, its possible to "smell" it, with the shape of the hands, and the chrono and seconds hands that gives it a feel of a pocket watch. I feel that JLC has a very specific DNA, about the hands, the marker of numbers, some small detail...

Congrats JPSF!

Wear it in good health. - SJX

huge Congratulations, a beautiful watch especially in RG

 By: G99 : November 23rd, 2009-04:08
it is top of my JLC dream list. having tried it on, looked at it, wound it etc i know i would love one and am pleased whenever anyone else gets one. i wont use the word envy as your pleasure of ownership helps me enjoy it vicariously. IMHO the best choice...

Thanks a lot. I found more

 By: JPSF : November 24th, 2009-00:03
contrast in PG than in YG. PG seems to be more dynamic, IMHO. Jean

Good choice! My favourite metal for this duometre...

 By: kkhazen : November 23rd, 2009-07:48
... IMO much nicer than the YG that has this kind of yellow mellow colour of dial. The RG has a very warm feeling. Amazing watch, enjoy it, and wear it in good health! Karim

I thought YG has more

 By: JPSF : November 24th, 2009-00:04
vintage looking dial. YG is nice too...Best, Jean
